Format, links?

Hi,

Can someone tell me the rule (or point me to a reference), for how
links are formatted in Gnumeric?  I keep getting inconsistent results,
and don't understand why. Sometimes the link has the same format as
the original cell, and sometimes it doesn't, reverting to "general".
