The bar between sheets and formula at the bottom of Gnumeric window

I have attached screenshot of the area in Gnumeric window at the bottom that seems pretty annoying that it consumes screen area that I would otherwise expect to be taken up by buttons that get to my all my sheets.

Any idea how I can resize this area or get rid of it completely?
