In debian lenny, gnumeric git
run gnumeric using
LC_NUMERIC=fr_FR.UTF-8 LC_MONETARY=fr_FR.UTF-8 gnumeric
it correctly use comma as decimal point, but use space as thousands separator.
eg display 12345.67 as 12 345.67
googling said thin space U+2009 is used as thousands separatori. Can
gnumeric be configured to choose between space and period as thousands
separator? And what is the normal thousands separator for french
locale?
In french, the thousands separator is a no-break space.
