OK everyone, we have been hacking on the bugs long enough, it is time to

release this weekend.

HooRay!

Outstanding issues:
* I am going to deal with 9443 this week before the RC release.

* There are three outstanding bugs marked as blocker on the Mac; 8609
only applies to the 2.2.x series, 8365 is a usability issue, and does
not IMO deserve a blocker status, which leaves 9269. I am inclined to
release even if this is not fixed in time, the Mac version can follow
couple of days later, if necessary.

I agree with the thrust of this. Let's coordinate with Gnumeric,
gnome-db and GNOME so that we get make push from the after-glow of the
GNOME-2.12 announcement.

I guess the day after would be a good time.

What do the Gnumeric and gnome-db hackers think?

gnome-db 2.0 release is on time, to be out with GNOME 2.12, so we're
ready :)
