The default build uses those limits for XL compatibility. Changing them
is simple, but requires a recompilation.
- edit src/gnumeric.h
- change SHEET_ROWS_MAX
- recompile
Thanks! I was a little afraid that something in the code might depend on
the limit, but I will trust you on this. As an amusing(?) aside, I note
that OpenOffice.org has decided that this 65536 business is really
excessive, and allows only 32000 rows...
