Indeed!
In OO.o, when you hover over a cell with a comment in it (hover anywhere
within the cell-area that is...), it displays the comment in a popup. So
the teenie-weenie triangle is just a visual clue that the cell contains
a comment, nothing more.
Don't know what the Excel behaviour is, but the OO.o-way is preferable
to what gnumeric now has.
