Disabling message that Gnumeric is too old

Hello all...

 

I hope everybody is doing well.  I know I have ran into this problem, but I lost my solution on how to correct this problem.  I have a remote location that is using an older version of Gnumeric.  An error message pops up that says Gnumeric is too old and to install a newer version.  How can I correct this without installing a new version?  Thanks
