I am not familiar with GTK2 or even GTK1.4!!
Can I use pango with GTK1.2, or I have to upgrade all the g* lib to
gtk1.4 or even gtk2??
Upgrade to Gtk+ v2.0
2.0 is not quite out yet. Currently you have to get v1.3 (which is the
pre-release of 2.0).
Go to:
ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v1.3/
From there download: Atk, Glib, Pango, Gtk+
Your information is a touch out of date.
gtk-2.0.x is definitely out. 2.0.3 was released today.
