About requirements specified in README
So Guppi, guile and bonobo dont met the version requirement
- funny, Guppi require (as plugin) gnumeric installed, as gnumeric
require (as plugin) Guppi installed
Guppi requires gnumeric's graphing idl file to build gnumeric
support. Gnumeric reccommends that you install guppi, but has no
build dependencies on it.
- about bonobo, I dont use this for now
You will if you want to graph things.
- guile... ....."Soon" to be released Guile version
The guile team has been threatening to release 1.6 for a long time.
Until then the guile plugin can easily be disabled.
gui-clipboard.o: In function `x_selection_handler':
/home/moa/gnumeric-1.0.0/src/gui-clipboard.c:292: undefined reference
to `xmlFre e'
This is a completely different problem. You have conflicting
versions of libxml1 and libxml2 installed. Install a newer version
of libxml2 and ensure that the headers are installed in libxml2 not
libxml.
