Re: Odd file-naming behavior

Hi,

a known problem that has been fixed in more recent releases. (I don't
recall which release fixed it.)

I'm seeing what strikes me as weird file-naming behavior from
gnumeric 1.1.2.

1. Start gnumeric blank, type some content, use the save icon,
give the file to save a name of "foo".

2. The titlebar now shows "foo.gnumeric". Fine.

3. Exit gnumeric.

4. Start gnumeric again and open "foo" from the recent files
list. The titlebar shows "Book2.gnumeric". Wrong!

5. Press the save icon and the file is saved as "Book2", not
   "foo".

Thus if you're not very careful you can in effect lose modifications
to your data: they're actually saved, but not where you expected.
