 Hi, 

 Gnumeric-0.63 is IMO very unfriendly with respect to overwriting files when
using 'save as' and 'save' dialog - if you select a name of already-existing
file in 'save as' or 'save' dialog, you will be asked whether you want to
overwrite it, and if you answer 'yes', it will very friendly tell you that
'overwriting of files was disabled at compile time'.  I think it's VERY
unfriendly - there should be at least a checkitem in preferences dialog with
which you can control whether overwriting of files is permitted, but in the
ideal, program should do as user said - if user confirmed overwriting file,
file should be overwritten.
