Which is fine for users running Ubuntu "focal" or higher, but it has not (yet?) been backported to the current Ubuntu Long-Term Release, 18.04 (aka "Bionic"). More's the pity, because Ubuntu 18.10 (and higher) will no longer provide i386 OS installation images. So, one wonders if Gnote is yet-another project that has chosen to forsake 32-bit operating systems; and, if so, why?

FYI: As the official Ubuntu LTS, 18.04 will continue to be supported through April 2023, with for-pay customer support through April 2028.
