Hi,
Thanks for your work on Gnote. I have 2 little questions regarding
future releases of this program. Do you plan to add the following features :
- Notes synchronization with Ubuntu One
- Support of new Ubuntu Unity AppIndicator
Thanks in advance. Best regards,
Xavier

Hi,
I am planning to make 0.7.4 a GNOME 2.x release, and then create a stable-0.7
branch for further GNOME 2.x releases. We can cherry-pick bug-fixes and
backport sought after features from master to stable-0.7 if necessary.
We can carry on with the march towards GNOME 3 on master and make 0.8.0 our
first GNOME 3 release.
The basic assumption is not to support both versions of GNOME in a single
release.
Comments?
I completely support this idea.
I'm currently working towards porting Gnote to GTK 3. The state ATM is
around 50 patches with some up to 20 more to come (small, one issue at a
time style) and only about 20 of them can be committed to current Gnote
without changing dependencies. I'm strongly believe, that attempt to
have Gnote, that compiles with both Gtkmm 2 and 3 will result in nothing
but the messy code.
