[gnomemm] undefined reference to Gnome::UI::Stock::ABOUT

hi,

anyone using libgnome*mm packages on debian?
i want to use the stock item Gnome::UI::Stock::ABOUT in my menu but get the above linker error (the compiler finds the symbol in <libgnomeuimm/stock.h>)

i use pkg-config and all gnomemm-libraries (libgnomeuimm1.3-dev and dependencies) are installed properly.
