This one is broken (see previous posts on the mailing list).

1.0.10 is working.
Latest 'HG' version from ALSA repository is also working.
1.0.11 has a bug with DMIX.

As a workaround, I would suggest not using the "Default" soundcard in
the "Sound Events" and "Audio Devices" prefs of Ekiga.
