check if pwlib detected openldap or not:

grep P_LDAP CVS/pwlib/include/ptbuildopts.h
#define P_LDAP 1

If you do not get this as result, then it was not detected, for some
reason. If it is the case, check pwlib's config.log.

What I would suggest is "make uninstall" for everything, and install our
binaries from ekiga.org.
