Hallo,
I have a reproducable problem to get a connection between my
gnomemeeting and a netmeeting: People can see me, bui I can't see
them - for a Internet connection.
This has been working 3 months (or so) ago. I update the software on my
debian boxes often, but did not change anything (else) with gnomemeeting.
I have gnomemeeting 1.2.3-1+b2 installed.
I checked both hints from the FAQ: I have video support enabled and I
see this in the General History: "Codec H.261-QCIF für Empfang geöffnet"
(It german: codec H.261-QCIF is opend for reception).
I am behind a firewall and I set the firewall for my tests to forward
"everything" to the gnomemeetin host - no success.
I further set up a local windows computer with netmeeting, and the
connection is working (both sides see each other).
For another test I set the firewall to forward everything to the windows
host and the remote netmeeting could connect to my local netneeting
(both sides see each other).
I asumed a bandwith problem ( I have DSL, the remote side has ISDN), so
I disabled audio (in gnomemeeting) - no success.
Is there anything I could check/verify to get it working?
joerg
