Hello, I tried to compile pwlib with sdl support, since I compiled it first without sdl libs present in my system and it worked perfectly. But after installing sdl in ubuntu 6.06, pwlib exits at "config & make". I'm using the provided "official" sources, not cvs. The output of the error is this one:

mkdir -p ../pwlib/device/videoinput
g++ -D_REENTRANT -Wall -fPIC -DPIC -I/home/mario/src/eksrc/pwlib-1.10.1/include \
        -lraw1394 -ldv -ldc1394_control \
-I. -shared video4dc1394.cxx -o ../pwlib/device/videoinput/
/usr/bin/ld: no se puede encontrar -ldv
collect2: ld devolvió el estado de salida 1
This problem has nothing to do with SDL. You just try to compile the support for DC cams without the needed libs on the system.

Nevermind, I re-installed libdv and libdv-deb aind worked again.
Thanks for helping me again. Now i'm trying to add h.263, opal is already compiled with --enable-h263avcodec=dir-of-ffmpeg-libs. I'm guessing what to do next, maybe adding some lines to endpoints/manager.cpp?

Probably yes. However, you are on your own to do that. I have not
compiled in H.363 since many months.

If I was you, I would wait for 2.2, which could have an H.263 plugin in
countries where it is allowed (ie not the US for example).
I know, you said I'm on my own, but... ;)
say I'd like to know how opal_h261_cif and qcif are defined, the way I'm seeing it is: in GMManager::SetVideoMediaFormats, there's a call to OpalMediaFormat, where settings for the codec h.261 cif and qcif are updated. But, there's a call to GetMediaFormatOrder(), and I can't find it anywhere; I'm guessing it's the function needed to define OPAL_H261_CIF and QCIF. Any direction in this area would be great, and thank you again
