Damien, I think you have misunderstood what I was saying.
I agree that if Large cannot work with SIP at the moment then it should
be disabled. It would be better if it could be made to work, or somehow
disabled for sip calls, but yes - it can't be included if it does not
work.
My comments were pertaining to the you saying that most people cant do
CIF, so it is good idea to disable it anyway. I don't believe that
*this* is a good reason to disable it.

Saying "In my opinion, the average user only has X kbps of bandwidth, so
I won't let ANY user do more than that" is wrong. Even just removing
controls from the program and burying settings in gconf is wrong.
The amount of bandwidth available to users differs enormously across the
world, and can be very different depending on if someone is a home user
or at a university or...
A popop is less wrong than crippling the software.
All of this IMHO, of course.
