I have a similar problem. I use rivatv (V4L) and I have SAA7114H
video-in chip in it. It uses pixel format UYVY.
I tried to use that in Gnomemeeting 1.2.1 and it couldn't attach to it.

In system logs it shows, it (GM) tries to use YUV420P for it.
