Ahum - sorry - haven't been using this tool for a long time. Here we go :
08:56:55 Started GnomeMeeting 1.2.1 for user jo
08:56:55 Opening video device QC Express with plugin V4L
08:56:58 Successfully opened video device QC Express, channel 0
08:57:31 Call from natalie leys
08:57:40 Answering incoming call
08:57:44 Opened Intel 82801DB-ICH4 for recording with plugin ALSA
08:57:44 Opened codec G.711-uLaw-64k for transmission
08:57:44 Opened codec H.261-CIF for transmission
08:57:44 Connected with natalie leys using Microsoft® NetMeeting® 3.0
181/21324
08:57:44 Opened Intel 82801DB-ICH4 for playing with plugin ALSA
08:57:44 Opened codec G.711-uLaw-64k for reception
08:57:44 Opened codec H.261-QCIF for reception
Does this make sense? Good codecs?
I must say that speech was pretty ok now - just finished a call with someone.
Video on her side was awful - but I this might be due to poor support for
that new kind of Quickcam Express that I have ...
Is there a camera that absolutely completely fantasticly works with V4L ?
Thanks!
Jo
