ok, but:
my firewall was disabled
the other guy said he didn't change his firewall settings.

i'm quite puzzled, i can't figure out what's going wrong.
before I play with my firewall settings, eveything was working
just great.

I forgot to mention thant the general history didn't show
any error messages, so I don't know what i can check;
