Hi
I have upgraded gnome off my suse 9.1 with version 2.6
now when i launf gnomemeeting i have an error message
" gnomemeeting a reçu une valeur incorrect pour la clé gconf
/apps/...gconf_test_age
of corse i have read the faq and do a
chmod -R 4755 /etc/opt/gnome/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults/
but i still got the error message
I have delete my /home/.../gconf directory but still have the error
I did 'nt see in the /home/../gnomemeetin/general/ a file gconf_test_age
could you help me ?

I have nothing under /etc/opt/gnome/gconf/gconf.xml.default

Hi Bernard,
actually that should be handled ok by the gnomemeeting rpm.
In case it isn't you need to forcibly "killall -9 gconfd-2" or whatever
your gconfd is named in SuSE. Then close all gnomemeeting processes that
are currently open.
After doing so, make sure that
# gnomemeeting-config-tool --install-schemas
(as root)
Does finish just ok, and you kill again all gconfd processes.
Now gnomemeeting should start seamlessly..

working again
