Hi, That means that your camera supports the color format and the size requested by GQCam, but that it doesn't support the color format or the size requested by GnomeMeeting and that it doesn't report it. In other words, gqcam will for example request CIF size in RGB32, that will work, and that means that some size and some color format are supported by your camera. GnomeMeeting will request QCIF size in YUV420P, the camera doesn't support it and doesn't report an error about it => it is a bug in the driver. Solutions : - Determine what is the problem (color format? size?) - Add a hint in the source code of V4L.so to force the use of some given color format or size even if the camera driver reports it supports what is requested OR - report the bug to the driver author so that he fixes his driver. However, seeing the latest version of the driver is from 2001 leads to some doubts about that.
