Klaus Kämpf has built AMD64 without greater problems, afair.. There was a patch he added to enhance his building howsoever.. Those RPMs will be in the next official SuSE and I'll try to make them available, as soon as they are "release" and not "preview" anymore.. -- Best regards, Kilian
