As I understand it, by specifying my ip as the box that is to be dmz,
I get to have everything passed through the firewall on the router.

I don't think I can open 17 ports, but I'll give it a try. Are you
happy that having so many open is still reasonably secure? I was
trying to avoid having ports open for the whole lan at any time.
