Off-topic, but here you go:
=> download ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/bison/bison-1.875.tar.bz2
=> download
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/lfs/5.0/bison-1.875-attribute.patch
(in same directory)
=> tar -xjvf bison-1.875.tar.bz2
=> cd bison-1.875
=> path -Np1 -i ../bison-1.875-attribute.patch
=> ./configure --prefix=/usr (check ./configure --help for other options
first)
=> make
=> make install

Also see 'man patch' for more info.
