Re: [GnomeMeeting-list] audio problem with QuickCam 3000 Pro

Hello again,

well, I got it working, but some extra things also help:

- I killed the artsd running from kde
- I loaded snd-usb-audio

This was not enough, I still had no sound.
Then I checked the usb modules that could be related to the usb
camera. I loaded mod_quickcam and microtek (I am no sure if both
of them are needed).

Then I went again in the configuration druid, and more devices had
pop up, namely /dev/mixer1 and /dev/dsp1
So, I selected:

audio player /dev/dsp0
audio player mixer /dev/mixer1
audio recorder /dev/dsp1
audio recorder /dev/mixer1

and audio test works. :)
Maybe anybody has an explanation??

Isabel
