Re: [GnomeMeeting-list] Questions regarding upcoming sip support.

A more precise answer:

- A version able to do and receive pure audio calls and to register to a
registrar is already in CVS.
- A version able to support call forwarding/call hold/DTMFs/call
transfer/MWI should appear in CVS around January as I will work on this
during my Christmas break.

For video, and things like plugin codecs and so on, I entirely rely on
the OPAL schedule. I think that if we are realistic, the first Beta's
could popup around April, and a stable release could be done in June.

Notice that if we want to take extra time to make sure the release is
perfect, we can count 9 months from now on. That would mean September.

Of course, we will do intermediate binaries and unstable releases before
that, and they will already be usable even though not all features will
be present.

To be honnest, I think that we won't need more time for 2.00 with SIP
than for 1.2 without it. OPAL is a quality project thanks to the hard
work of Craig and Robert. It just needs testing and new features, we
will implement them with their help.
