I would agree except that anyone in the comcast network which is my
provider can ping me ok.

I called comcast tech support today and they agreed it was out side of
their network and will be trying to track it down specifically.

I have been through the services on my machine a dozen times just to
make sure all the correct services were turned on.

Don't you just hate these mysterious problems !!
