I haven't estimated. I don't know. It's less than a web browser, e-mail
client, or text editor, though.

It's a bit silly to argue that GnomeMeeting will be one of the "few"
apps left in 5th toe if it is not included, by advocating a precedent
that this sort of app should be in the core instead of 5th toe. (That
bit that you cut out from your reply.) It's a self-referential argument.
It could just as easily be said that GnomeMeeting will be with the
majority of the apps by being in 5th toe instead of the core.

I don't care what code it uses; being part of GNOME does not require
dependencies. Unless you're proposing a complete toolkit port - not a
very worthwhile use of hacker time - it will stay a GNOME app if you
remove these dependencies and provide the functionality otherwise.
