[GnomeMeeting-list] ld linking problem gnomemeeting-0.98.0

Hy everybody,

I'm running a debian linux, with sdl openldap
and gnome dev files from debian.
 I compiled and installed pwlib and openh323
according to the gnomemeeting faq.

Running configure script for gnomemeeting
seems ok since i obtain this beautiful message :

================ Final configuration ===================
    Installing into prefix: /usr

   OpenH323 Include Directory is  :  /usr/include/openh323
 OpenH323 Libraries Directory is  :  /usr/lib
      PTLIB Include Directory is : /usr/include/ptlib
    PTLIB Libraries Directory is : /usr/lib

                Quicknet support  :  enabled
          SDL Fullscreen support  :  enabled

                         OS Type  :  linux-gnu
                    Machine Type  :  i686

 If all settings are OK, type make and make install
========================================================

But make falls with the following error :

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsasl
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
.. and then some others...

Well, at this point, what can I do else
than writing to the mailing-list ?

Here is a message obtained when running
the configure script of openh323 :

checking ptlib.h usability... no
checking ptlib.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: ptlib.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: ptlib.h: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: ptlib.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
checking for ptlib.h... yes
checking for ptlib-config... /usr/bin/ptlib-config
PWLib prefix set to.... /usr/local/src/pwlib-1.5.0

Hope this "no" for ptlib.h usability is not the key ?

Thanks for any help,
Nico.
