Hi,
I rewrote the ixj driver, so can I give you some simple tests.
This should work with the old or new driver.
1) cvs -z9 -d :pserver:openh323 cvs openh323 org:/home/cvsroot co nsdk
2) cd nsdk
3) make all
4) ./cptones (plays dial tone when handset is raised. stops on handset down)
5) ./cptones -t busy (busy tone instead)
6) ./cptones -h (lists all options. - change device name, echo
cancellation, tone, play volume, stop time)
All the utilities in the nsdk are based around the handset being raised
(starts the sound) and handset put down (stops the program).
If you can play tones, good. We will need to look further then.
==============
The new driver is easy to try. NO kernel build is required.
1) cvs -z9 -d :pserver:openh323 cvs openh323 org:/home/cvsroot co nixj
2) cd nixj
3) autoconf; ./configure ; make
4) WE DONT want to erase the existing ixj module from disk)
Do rmmod ixj (unload existing module)
insmod ixj.o (loads the new ixj module from the nixj directory.
Derek.
