That makes sense. Is it feasible to have GnomeMeeting also attempt to
wait/recover?

Both sides are using port forwarding and IP translation (via NAT). But, as I
indicated, the sessions initiate successfully and consistently. It's only
after a few minutes that the video gets dropped. While that may well be
something due to the router, it's not as simple as opening up a particular
port. (We both allow UDP/1024-65535, along with TCP/1720 and such during
video connections. And, MS-Netmeeting functions just fine with the same
ports open -- but I'd MUCH rather use GnomeMeeting on my primary Debian
desktop system for the connections.)
Thanks again for all of your assistance on this. I hope that we can find the
problem and fix it so that others can appreciate the added stability in
GnomeMeeting. It is a fabulous tool, by the way. Kudos for doing a superb
job!
