Hi Ulrich,

To my knowledge, this file is not used in GnomeMeeting itself.

Can you try to run it in gdb to see where it hangs?
Are you sure it doesn't happen only in KDE ?
Perhaps try to launch bonobo-activation-empty-server before gnomemeeting
and see if it fixes the problem. There was a bug in older versions of
the bonobo libs preventing GM to start under non-Gnome environments.
