[GnomeMeeting-list] Microsoft passport

Do one need a microsoft passport to use gnomemeeting under windows (with 
MSnetmeeting) ?
Anyway, it would be great to have an independent program.
I think gnomemeeting would apear more clearly as a free alternative to 
microsoft netmeeting and its monopolistic passport.
Aren't gnome libs available for windows ?
I am not gifted enough to do the job but if one could help...
