Even if there are packets being lost, shouldn't that just cause
sound/picture to freeze?
Packet loss is a normal fact of the internet. It happens. That shouldn't
cause a disconnection. Shouldn't they be waitinf for an explicit
dosconnect signal not just give up if the ride is bumpy?

The person doesn't have linux, or we'd just be using gm. I can look into
openPhone. My friend isn't technical (law student), so the interface
would have to be simple.
