Thanks for being patient with me on this one, I seem to have it now thanks.  I hadn't cleaned out the old versions before compile/install of the new libs so it was looking at the wrong ones still.

I now have an installed and working Gnomemeeting, thank you.

Only problem I have now is that I can only run it as root as it tells me that my gconf settings and permissions are not properly set up.  Can someone please point me in the right direction for this one?

Sorry to be such a pain but I think I'm close now.
