I'm trying to install GnomeMeeting on Mac OS X. Right now I am stuck on
libldap.so. I have:
/usr/local/lib/libldap.a
/usr/local/lib/libldap.dylib
/usr/local/lib/libldap.la
/usr/local/lib/libldap_r.a
/usr/local/lib/libldap_r.dylib
/usr/local/lib/libldap_r.la
I assume that I am going to need to create a symlink to libldap.so for
one of these files. As its been about 10 years since I have done anything
like this any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I think it might be useful to add a variable in the config script for
LIBLDAP_FILE similiar to LIBPT_FILE.. I haven't modified the script
myself yet except to allow for Mac OS X. Do BSD users have similar issues
with libldap?

Thanks to all involved with Gnomemeeting. The fact that I have made it
even this far is a tribute to how well documented everything is.
