I downloaded gnomemeeting-11-18-01.tar.gz, pwlib_1.2.4.tar.gz, and
openh323_1.7.3.tar.gz , moved them to /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES
(which is where the 0.11 src rpm's installed), and unzipped/detarred
them. I then set up PWLIBDIR and OPENH323DIR to point to
the directories formed, and was able to make pwlib and openh323.
When I try to run autogen.sh in the gnomemeeting-11-18-01
directory, I get a missing intltool message, with an ftp site of
where to get it, so I do and install it. I get another message, so
I do a
ln -s /usr/bin/xml-i18n-toolize /usr/bin/intltoolize
and get past that. Then I get this:
[gnomemeeting-11-18-01]# ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr
processing .

Shall I run config.status? (y/N)
You should update your own `aclocal.m4' by adding the necessary
macro packages gettext.m4, lcmessage.m4 and progtest.m4 from
the directory `/usr/share/aclocal'

Do you have something on your machine that this package
requires that you didn't write down in the FAQ, README,
or INSTALL? Is there a hidden hard requirement for these
source directories to be in my user home directory? I have
only heard about m4 and used it indirectly in my sendmail
setup. I copied those 3 files it mentions into the
gnomemeeting-11-18-01 directory, but that didn't do it
either. For the moment, I am out of time to try to decipher
what aclocal.m4 needs, and what the
AC_PROG_INTLTOOL message before the Error means,
if anything. I will get back to it later. Any hints?
