I'll be kind, I'll answer you even if your message on IRC was rather
aggressive towards us.
If you want instant answers, you can of course pay us so that we can
help you faster :-))
The answer is in the FAQ :
---
7.4. I can see people, but I do not hear them, and they don't hear me.
There can be several causes for that problem :
You are trying to contact Netmeeting people that have no common codecs
with you. Tell them to install the MS-GSM codec or to enable the G.711
codec.
Your are using the OSS kernel drivers. Please use the ALSA drivers. Most
of the OSS kernel drivers are not full-duplex, it means that they are
unable to record and play audio at the same time.
You are natted, and you didn't install the modules.
You are firewalled and firewall rules drop the audio/video packets.
Please check your firewall rules.
---
The answer is there : check your firewall rules that can drop
audio/video packets.

He used Gnomemeeting on Linux and Netmeeting on MicroShaft. There is a possiblity that his failure to videochat with me could have been to do with those two computers being on a network and having two addresses though. There may be firewalls or something for the network.
