Since you asked the question, now I know I must have done something stupid.

I have since made a symlink from /usr/include/ptlib to
/usr/local/pwlib/usr/include/ptlib which fixed that header problem. However
I am now getting this:

checking for PTLib includes...
checking for pstring.h... yes
checking for /usr/lib/libpt.so... no
configure: error: You need PTLib to enjoy GnomeMeeting

I think I needed to include a command line option for the configure, yes?
