Hello again, I forgot to mention, in order to get the full benefit of this patch, the process needs to be able to use FIFO realtime scheduling. This can be achieved by running: chrt -f -p 99 $(pidof ekiga) as root after ekiga has been started by a normal user. This takes effect when the next call is made/received.
