[GnomeMeeting-devel-list] UDP ports for SIP

Hi,

I have a few questions for better understanding...

I noticed that Ekiga is using 2 UDP ports (why not just one?) per
account, starting with the gconf value
/apps/ekiga-snapshot/protocols/sip/listen_port + 1.

Why is the first used port the listen_port increased by one? You do not
signal e.g. 5060 to the provider, it is always 5061 or up. Why do you
listen on 5060 anyway?
And why do you also listen on the broadcast address?
