i'd still prefer doing 
"sed -i -e 's#apps/gnomemeeting/#/apps/gnomemeeting-snapshot/#g' * */*"

or rather having some more detailled matching where "*" is at.

Yet I'll have new GM2CVS debs up in a minute and you can try if it's
needed.
