Theora will be interesting once it is ready for use. Of course.

Yes, 2xCIF should be possible too.

You will probably see other developments mentioned in the email before
codecs improvements except if there is an external contribution. We have
limited ressources, so we will have to prioritize things, I have put SIP
as #1 on the list and the windows port as #2 :)
