Dust has to settle, but things look good.

Now if someone could write a video plugin for MOSX, gm would gain a big
number of users (enterprise level).

I thought I had mostly done so ; did I forget anything?

The current ils code has many problems ; lack of support being one:
getting rid of it will allow to close quite a few bug reports on
bugzilla.

Netmeeting was bad, it is now bad and dead.

Probably true.

I wonder why too. There has been a stupid news on /. recently on VoIP,
and gnomemeeting wasn't mentioned at all!
(neither in the news, nor the comments!)

Indeed. I would add that most of the code I took from libgnomeui to
allow a gnome-less gnomemeeting, is going to be in gtk in some future
version: this code will disappear from gnomemeeting, and will just be
gtk calls!
Which leaves the gnome in gnomemeeting to be mostly:
* gnome_help;
* gnome_url_show;
* gnome_app initialization code;
* gnome-vfs (in src/vfakeio*);
* bonobo.
The (future) use of dbus should allow to get rid of even more. It's not
that I don't like gnome (I use it), it's just that kde, xfce and all
freedesktop-compliant desktop users shouldn't be forgotten.

I propose a spanish word: "tertulia". That is, if spanish speaker don't
come up and say: "Eh, it has more than the meaning you know, and means
<something horrible> too!"
