Hello Christopher,

Yes, indeed I emerged usb-pwcx. I also visited /usr/share/doc/usb-pwcx.8.2.2
in order to learn how to load it; i.e.,
1."cp" into /lib/modules/usb
2. depmod -a (which unfortunately sent me back "unresolved symbols).
3. Nevertheless I passed this in order to do: insmod -f pwcx-i386.o so as to
load the module. lsmod indicates that pwcx-i368 is loaded (line 2).

BTW, what must be the file in /dev/v4l/video0 ? I assume just a caracter file.
devfs.d is configured to make a symlink towards /dev/v4l/video. See a
preceeding post.

Is that correct?
Is there a step-by-step procedure described somewhere?

Many thanks in advance

Thierry
