Are we going for a non-framed version of the the preferences in
GnomeMeeting too like in this screenshot?

Personnally I find this bad-looking and unclear...

I think it's maybe just a question of playing with the spacing and
alignment a bit until it looks reasonable.  The new nautilus preferences
dialogs use the 'frameless' format and they don't look too bad to me
(screenshot attached)-- although they could probably still be better.
