after upgrading to gnome 3.18 I can no longer login to university google apps. the authentication process fails after submitting credentials to university authentication server and displays rather useless "Message corrupt" error. I thought it was a regression but I could reproduce on older system still running Gnome 3.16, so I suspect something else is to blame.
Sounds a bit like: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=712574
I looked online, but could not find any way how to get the failing HTTP request, or any other information on what is going wrong. "gnome-control-center -v online-accounts" does not print anything useful, and neither does goa-daemon --replace.
Did you try setting G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all in your environment? You don't need to restart goa-daemon. Just running gnome-control-center in a terminal should give you the logs.
However, goa-daemon --replace removes my jabber accounts for some reason (empathy account was removed while goa not running, removing goa account).
Yes, this is a known bug in the bridge between telepathy and g-o-a. Cheers, Debarshi
